Miterebe :: Unity City by Advoma Miterebe :: Unity City by Advoma
Capital city of the Scientan Imperium, Miterebe (Unity City when translated to English) lies on an island in the center of a large lake nestled deep within the Erimtrae Valley on the Scientian homeworld. The Spire at the city's heart stands at an impressive 2.6 km (~8500 ft).

This took so very long to model, been working on it on and off over the past few months. Not too happy about how the final image came out, but alas photoshop is not my strongsuit. Really wish i could make it look more realistic, but that is beyond my abilities apparently.

The model was made in sketchup, water added in photoshop

Hehe, interesting concept. Reminds me a bit of my concept of floating islands. ^^

I cant agree with ''curux'' ofcourse Max is better, but also a longer/harder learning curve, if u texture it the right way it will look much more realistic....if i can, everybody can :D...all direct exports: scifilicious.deviantart.com/ar…

Hi cool concept .You should try 3ds max instead of sketchup. Sketchup is good if you are gonna draw over it and only need a basic shape to start from. i started with sketchup as well and you cant do much in it so if you enjoy 3d you should try 3ds max or maybe cinema 4d :)
